History
O-Blast, made from aragonite, forms all over the waters around the Bahamas. Unlike other naturally formed minerals, aragonite is constantly forming and is renewable.
Our parent company has supplied aragonite, the mineral composing O-Blast, continuously for over 40 years. During this time, we have sold millions of tons to different markets across the United States. Aragonite has the potential to transform the blasting media market. Aragonite is renewable, non-toxic, and actually helps plant life. Other media struggle with silica and other toxic components, while aragonite is actually used for animal nutrition and as a plant supplement.
0-BLAST harvests the mineral aragonite from the Bahamas using rigid guidelines, so that we do not harm the local ecosystem or mine near any kind of ocean life like coral reefs. We proudly state that no load has ever been rejected. We control all aspects of the sourcing pipeline, from harvesting the aragonite, processing, and delivery to the customer. Quality control is the upmost concern for us, so we maintain strict third-party testing protocols in addition to certifications like OMRI. Our mission is to make blasting easier and safer for our customers.
